The challenge
After three strong appeals with Bigfoot, Careflight set out to make their 2025 Tax Appeal their biggest yet. The goal was to raise $790k to help save more lives and grow digital income year-on-year in an increasingly competitive EOFY giving period.
The solution
Bigfoot built on proven insights while introducing new creative and segmentation strategies. A multi-phase digital approach combined general, matched-giving and urgency periods, backed by a strong video-first creative focus. Optimised Meta and Google campaigns targeted high-value and lookalike audiences, with matched-giving content driving urgency and impact. Bigfoot also supported CareFlight’s email and SMS journeys for consistent, integrated messaging.
The impact
The campaign raised $895k, smashing the target by 13% and delivering CareFlight’s biggest Tax Appeal ever.
Digital channels brought in $346k (38% of total income) - with a Meta ROAS of 2.16 and Google ROAS of 11.07.
Beyond record-breaking results, the campaign strengthened engagement, expanded younger donor reach, and set a new benchmark for integrated digital fundraising success.
