The challenge
Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (VCCRI) approached Bigfoot Fundraising to manage their 2023 digital tax appeal, and establish a model off which future digital campaigns would be based.
The solution
We developed and implemented an integrated digital appeal sharing the story of Marie, a young mum who received a heart transplant that saved her life.
The campaign involved Meta and Google ads, email and SMS to drive supporters to a custom appeal page.
The impact
The appeal smashed its target, raising over $350,000 for life-saving heart research.
VCCRI saw year-on-year digital growth of 226% in the number of new donors acquired, and an increase in the average gift value.
