The challenge
WomenCan partnered with Bigfoot to launch a national petition calling for greater government funding of gynaecological cancer research. The goal: generate 1,500 signatures while building awareness and a base of new supporters for future giving.
The solution
Bigfoot designed a powerful lead-gen strategy across Meta and Google using bold, emotive creative to inspire immediate action. A dual-funnel structure balanced awareness and conversion activity, focusing on cold audiences through high-performing Lookalikes and Performance Max campaigns. A post-petition step-up form encouraged donors to give directly.
The impact
The campaign achieved 8,214 leads which is more than five times the target, achieving this at a low $8.28 CPL across both Meta & Google.
Over $5,700 in donations were tracked directly from ads, despite donation not being the main objective.
The result… a standout advocacy campaign that mobilised thousands of Australians and built a valuable new supporter base for WomenCan’s ongoing fundraising.
