Bigfoot Hits Wine Country

At the start of this month, the Bigfoot team hit pause on the hustle for our annual planning retreat held this year at the beautiful Wine Country Retreat in Rothbury, NSW.
It was a rare chance to step back, reflect, and refocus priorities (and have a bit of fun whilst we were at it!)
We spent the morning diving into what matters most: how we can continue to evolve, improve, and drive even stronger results for our incredible clients. From deep-diving into tax campaign insights to exploring emerging digital opportunities (specifically TikTok and Digital Out Of Home), the conversations were thoughtful, energising, and future-focused.
We debriefed on ideas that worked well, some that didn’t, and of course new things we want to try in FY26 - stay tuned!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Bigfoot retreat without some quality time together and a few glasses of great wine! In the afternoon, we visited McCaffrey’s Wines for a private tasting with winemaker Declan McCaffrey, followed by a second stop at Theleme Wines with owner Jean Bruchut. We wrapped up the day with dinner and laughs at Huntlee Tavern.
With new team members on board this year, it was also an important chance to properly connect, share ideas, and enjoy each other’s company outside the Zoom screen.
Overall, it was a great retreat with the team, and we’re walking away full of fresh ideas, gratitude and maybe a few grapes.
Here’s to what comes next!
